BURGLARY AT PATCHES PUB

The Bay County Sheriff’s Office announced the arrest of Christopher Justin Tommasini for allegedly burglarizing Patches Pub on Thomas Drive, Panama City Beach.

The BCSO was called to the business on July 22, 2019, when it was discovered by employees that a safe had been stolen. Security video cameras had captured the image of a white male entering and going through items inside the business.

Further investigation identified Christopher Justin Tommasini, age 29, of Panama City Beach, as the suspect. Contact was made with Tommasini at his residence on July 22, 2019. Investigators found him to be in possession of the stolen safe, as well as other evidence from the scene. When interviewed, Tommasini admitted to committing the burglary and stealing the safe. Investigators also found heroin and drug paraphernalia. All the stolen cash was recovered in Tommasini’s vehicle and has been returned to Patches Pub.

Tommasini was taken to the Bay County Jail and charged with Burglary of a Structure, Grand Theft, Possession of Heroin, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
