Convicted Felon Registration

  1. Convicted felons and anyone placed on felony probation are required to register at the sheriff's office within 48 hours of being released from jail or prison or moving into the county.

  2. If they do not register within 48 hours, they will be charged with failing to register (misdemeanor)

  3. In order to register you must bring a valid FL ID/DL card or DOC card. A valid out of state ID/DL card will work as well, but if you intend on living in FL you must work towards obtaining a valid FL ID/DL card.

  4. During felon registration you must provide the following information: name, date of birth, social security number, race, sex, height, weight, hair and eye color, photograph, home telephone and any cellular telephone number, address of legal permanent and temporary residences, transient addresses, occupation and place of employment, fingerprints, and a brief description of the crime(s) committed.

    5. Violations of these rules will result in a misdemeanor charge.
