
Concealed Weapon Permits
Minimum Elegibility Requirements
-Must be at least 21 years of age.
-Must meet the citizenship and residency requirements set forth in the law.
-Must be able to provide documentation that proves your competence with a firearm.
-Must NOT have a disqualifying criminal record or other condition that would make you ineligible for licensure.

There are 2 ways to apply for your concealed weapn permit.
-Come in to the sheriff's office and pick up a concealed weapon packet.
-Get your fingerprints scanned/printed for $5 cash only.
-Fill out your application and mail it in along with your fingerprints, firearms training documentation, passport-type color photograph, and a check or money order for $117.00
OR
-Contact one of Florida's eight regional offices and schedule and appointment.
-At the time of your appointment, you will complete an electronic application. Staff will review your application, scan your fingerprints, take your photograph, and process your payment.
-You will receive your license much faster doing it this way.
