Public's Help Sought in Search for Jacorien Thomas

The Bay County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance in finding Jacorien K. Thomas. Thomas is wanted for shooting and killing Demetrius Traylor in August of 2018 in a mobile home park on Cherry Street in Callaway.

Thomas is described as a 24 year old black male, 5’7”, 160 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair. Thomas has family ties in Tallahassee and Gulf County, Florida, but was living in Bay County at the time of the homicide.

Warrants have been issued for Jacorien Thomas for Homicide: Manslaughter with a Firearm and Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon. Thomas should be considered armed and dangerous.



The United States Marshals Florida Regional Fugitive Task Force has posted a $1500.00 reward for Jacorien Thomas. Anyone with any information is asked to contact the Bay County Sheriff’s Office at 747-4700 or Crime Stoppers at 785-TIPS.
