Georgia Man and Local Man Arrested

A local man and a Georgia man have been arrested, and heroin, cocaine, methamphetamine, fentanyl, hydrocodone, and more than a pound of crystal methamphetamine have been seized by the Bay County Sheriff’s Office.

 

On September 28th, 2018, the Bay County Sheriff's Office Special Investigations Division served a search warrant at a home on Panama City Beach. During the search, investigators found approximately 1.5 pounds of crystal methamphetamine. Investigators also found approximately 110 assorted pills. Some of the pills had imprints on them, and some did not.  Field tests of the pills showed positive results for powerful opiates such as heroin and fentanyl.  Further laboratory testing is needed to positively identify these substances. 

Taken into custody during the search were Darnell J Riggins and Quantavius Fuller.  Darnell Riggins is currently on Fl State Probation for previous drug crimes. 

  

Darnell J. Riggins, age 37, of 5500 Pinetree, Panama City Beach, was charged with Trafficking More Than 200 Grams of Methamphetamine, Trafficking More Than Four Grams of Heroin, Trafficking more than four Grams of an Opiate Derivative,  Possession With Intent to Distribute Cocaine, Possession with Intent to Distribute Fentanyl, Possession with Intent to Distribute Hydrocodone, Possession With Intent to Distribute Alprazolam(xanax),  Possession of Marijuana Less Than 20 Grams, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Violation of Probation. 

  

Quantavious G. Fuller, age 38, of Albany, Georgia, was arrested and charged with Trafficking More Than 200 grams of Methamphetamine, Trafficking More Than Four Grams of Heroin, Trafficking More Than Four Grams of an Opiate Derivative,  Possession With Intent to Distribute Cocaine, Possession with Intent to Distribute Fentanyl, Possession With Intent to Distribute Hydrocodone, Possession with Intent to Distribute Alprazolam(xanax),  Possession of Marijuana Less Than 20 grams, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
