Shop Till You Drop

Each year the funds collected from the community for Project 25 are used to purchase toys from the Super Walmart in Callaway, and are distributed to needy children. Volunteers help shop for the approximately 250 needy kids that Project 25 will help this year.

This year, the Project 25 shopping night was December 5, 2005, at 6 pm at the Super Walmart in Callaway. Each volunteer was given a slip of paper with the age and sex of the child and how much money can be spent for that child. Once a shopping cart was filled with the toys selected by the volunteer, a Walmart associate takes the cart, rings up the toys and bags them in large Christmas Bags.
