MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum 19 years of age
  • United States Citizen
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Honorable discharge (If veteran)
  • NO felony convictions
  • NO misdemeanor convictions involving perjury or false statement
  • Be of good moral character

PRE-EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS

  • Certified as a Law Enforcement Officer in the State of Florida
  • Entry-level written exam
  • Successful completion of physical abilities test
