April 02, 2007 Ruth Sasser, PAS For Immediate Release 747-4700, ext. 2117 Plants and Pills Discovered on Search Warrant Narcotics investigators initiated an investigation into Donald Earl Kelley, DOB 8/2/60, when they discovered information that revealed Kelley may be involved in illegal drug activity. The month-long investigation into Kelley ended on March 30 when a search warrant was served at his residence at 7709 Kelly Hill Road in Southport. Investigators found marijuana plants and a quantity of Hydrocodone pills in Kelleys pockets. Kelley was arrested and charged with Cultivation of Marijuana, Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Distribute, Possession of Hydrocodone, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
