November 09, 2006 Ruth Sasser, PAS For Immediate Release 747-4700, ext. 2117 The Bay County Sheriffs Office Criminal Investigations Division assisted the Florida Department of Law Enforcement on a search warrant this morning which had an unexpected outcome. FDLE and BCSO investigators searched the residence of Walter Mahadeo at 221 Seahorse Way, Panama City Beach on an unrelated case and discovered Mahadeo possessed three different drivers licences with different names. Mahadeo had a drivers license from Florida in his real name as well as one in the name of Walt Herndon. He had a Georgia drivers license in the name of Teddy Brooks. He also had two local voters registration cardsone under the name of Mahadeo and one under the name of Herndon. Mahadeo also had social security cards in all three names. After speaking with Mahadeo, investigators believe Herndon voted locally as well as in Georgia. They also believe Mahadeo is an illegal alien from Trinidad. Mahadeo, DOB 4-14-58, was arrested and taken to CCA. Mahadeo was charged with two counts of Possession of a Ficticious Drivers License and two counts of Voter Fraud.
