                                                   Three from Georgia Arrested on Drug Charges

The Bay County Sheriffs Office Special Investigations Division along with the State Attorneys Office Investigations arrested three Georgia men for bringing illegal narcotics to Bay County with the intent to sell them.

On October 30, 2006, investigators arranged to purchase crack cocaine at a local motel from Jermiah Bernard White, DOB 6/12/87, of Albany, Georgia. White was then arrested for Possession of Crack Cocaine. White had in his possession a door key to a local condominium. Investigators interviewed White and learned he was working with two other men from Albany Georgia to distribute crack cocaine into Bay County and that one of the men was wanted in Albany on drug trafficking charges.

Surveillance was set up on the condominium and enough information was gathered to locate the fugitive Jerrod Jason Sanders, DOB 6/27/80. Sanders was charged with Fugitive from JusticeTrafficking Crack Cocaine, Trafficking Crack Cocaine more than 100 grams, and Possession of Cocaine.

Michael R. Louketis, DOB10/20/80, the registered guest to the condominium, gave consent to search the unit and investigators located over 100 grams of crack cocaine, a small amount of powder cocaine with an approximate street value of $12,000.00. Over $2000.00 in US currency was found in possession of Sanders. Louketis was charged with Trafficking in Crack Cocaine more than 100 grams, and Possession of Cocaine with Intent to Distribute.
