                                                                Caught on Video

Bay County Sheriffs Office investigators are asking for help in the identification of two individuals they believe snatched a purse on Saturday, June 8, 2006, and then charged about $800.00 on one of the stolen credit cards.

While walking in the parking lot of the K-Mart on Hwy 98 and Thomas Drive on Panama City Beach, a local woman had her purse snatched by a person driving a light green Altima. The vehicle sped off traveling north on Wildwood Road towards Sunrise Drive.

Later that day, at about 7:30 pm, a man and a woman purchased approximately eight hundred dollars in items at a local WalMart using the victims credit card. The next day, Sunday, July 9, 2006, another purchase was attempted at Pineapple Willies, a restaurant on Panama City Beach. The card was refused, having been reported stolen the night before.

The couple was caught on video at WalMart while making their purchase. If anyone thinks they know who this couple is or have any information as to their location please call the Bay County Sheriffs Office at 747-4700 or CrimeStoppers at 785-TIPS.
